• About Kyo Kuromontsuki Zome: It has a history of over 1,000 years being designated as "Traditional Crafts of Japan" by Japanese government since 1979. The technique is used to dye Kimono for special occasions, such as funerals and weddings.
• Characteristic of Kyo Kuromontsuki Zome: Its high quality and elegant black color. The item is dyed by Kyoto Montsuki Co., Ltd., a pioneer of the dyeing to apply our items their unique technique called “Shinkuro” finish which gives deep elegance, water-repellent and silky feel.
